On 15 December, British ESA Astronaut Tim Peake launched from Baikonur to the International Space Station (ISS), together with Expedition 46 crewmates Tim Kopra and Yuri Malenchenko, to begin his 6-month Principia science mission.
Just three days after arrival, Tim today held his first press conference from space in an in-flight call to journalists at ESA’s European Astronaut Centre in Cologne. Design & Data supported the Livestream of the event that the public could watch online to hear Tim’s first personal impressions of space. The briefing also introduced his mission, its major milestones and objectives in science, education and technology.
